ARMY 113 INF BN (TA) RAJPUT Recruitment Rally for Male Candidates from Assam,WB,AP,Meghalaya,Mizoram,Nagaland,Tripura,Manipur at Shillong

ARMY 113 INF BN (TA) RAJPUT  unit will be recruiting new (MALE) recruits hailing from Sikkim; West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar Island and North East States (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland,, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunchal Pradesh) during recruitment rally from 25 Feb 2017 to 02 Mar 2017 at 119
Inf Bn (TA) ASSAM, Kenche’s Trace, Bishnupur (Laban), Shillong-793004 State-Meghalaya from 0530 h as follows:
(a) 25 Feb 2017 : For residents of West Bengal and Meghalaya only.
(b) 26 Feb 2017 : For residents of Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunchal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Island.
(c) 27 Feb-02 Mar 2017 : Documentation, Interview and Medical Test for Selected
candidates.

Total No of vacancies is as under:
(a) General Duty Soldier : 29 (Twenty nine)
(b) . Mess Keeper :  01 (One)

The qualitative requirements (QR) are as under:
(a) Minimum Education qualification:
(i) For Soldier GD. : The criteria of minimum education qualification Class-X (Age : 18 - 42 years) pass with minimum  45%  of  aggregate marks  and minimum 33% marks in each subject for West Bengal.
Class-X simple pass only for person living in Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Andaman & Nicobar Island. Class VIII pass for personnel living in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim and those who are entitled dispensation. No stipulation of Percentage in case of Class XII.
(ii) For Mess Keeper : Minimum education qualification for the post of Mess (Age : 18 - 42.years) Keeper is Class- VIII pass for all states.

(b) Minimum Physical Standard:
(i) Height : Min 160 cms
(ii) Weight : Min 50 Kgs
(iii) Chest : Min 77cm with expansion of 5 cms
(iv) Age : 18 to 42 yrs
(v) Gainfully employed in Govt/Semi Govt/PvtSector or self employed
(vi) Candidates must be domicile of West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Andaman & Nicobar Island.

Physical Test for General Duty and Tradesman Category:
a) One mile run : Time 5 min 40 sec
b) 9 feet ditch : Qualify
c) Pull Up (Beam) : Minimum 6 pull ups
d) Zig Zag (Balance) : Qualify

The candidates should be physically fit and will have to undergo a medical examination prior to the enrolment.

TATTOOS: Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from
inside of elbow to the wrist and on reverse side of palm/back (dorsal). Permanent body
tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred
from further selection.

Terms and conditions:
(a) Candidates have to be gainfully employed. Candidates should bring ‘No Objection Certificate from their employer.
(b) The selected candidates will be employed in 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) RAJPUT.
(c) Recruit Traininq. Once the candidate is enrolled, he will be trained as recruit for the period of 32 days from the date of enrolment. On completion the recruit will be followed
by 08 months trg at RRC, Fathehgarh (UP).
(d) Annual Training Camp. In case a person is disembodied he will be recalled for embodiment for two months/14 days Annual Training Camp.
(e) Rule 33 under TA Act 1948. During emergency period:
(i) To render milifary service alongside Indian Army during war and peace.
(ii) To support the Indian Army during Counter Insurgency Operation in all over India.
(iii). To provide assistance during natural calamities like floods- and earthquakes.
(iv) To help the civil administration in maintaining essential service.
8. The selected candidates will be employed in 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) RAJPUT as soldier Group ‘Y’ (Combatant). The pay and other facilities will be as under:-
(a) During probation : Rs. 8,550/- per month.
(b) After probation : Rs. 22,000/- approx per month incl DA.
(c) Entitled Ration, accn & uniform.
(d) CSD Canteen facilities for self and dependents.
(e) Free medical facilities for self and dependents while under training/duty.

Note: Pay and allowance facilities will not be provided when not embodied for military service. Assured embodiment for Territorial Army soldier is only for two months in a year.
Pension Benefits: Pension benefits are applicable as per regular army on completion of minimum 15 years of embodied service. Territorial Army personnel who do not complete 15 years of physical service at the time of retirement are not eligible for pension.

Candidates are required to produced the following documents at the time of enrolment
(a) Education Certificates including Board Certificates in original and photocopy.
(b) Domicile certificate in original (Issued by SDO/DM).
(c) Passport size photographs colored (6 copies).
(d) Latest character certificate ( Issued during last six months )
(e) Ration Card/Voter Identity Card/Aadhaar Card.
(f) No objection Certificate from civil employer (if employed).
